This show is metal all over with a bit of talk radio on the side. Join the metal council of three as we discuss current happenings and topics in metal. Expect to hear anything from all over metal and a bunch of chatter about stupid things.

Prog and Jazz

First off, unfortunately there was no Radio Schizo today due to technical difficulties. But on the upside, I've got a kind of new show coming up for the summer semester! If you've payed attention to the radio on 2-6PM tuesday, I've got a prog/jazz show that extends a full four hours!

Tuesdays, 2-6PM

Profoundly Layered Passion:

Format: Progressive Rock/Jazz

This show is four hours switching up between record sides of classic progressive rock and jazz music of all varieties. From the tame and masterful to the adventurous avant-garde and experimental. From Yes and Univers Zero to Dizzy Gillespie and Ornette Coleman.

Summer Schedule

Mondays, 10-11PM

Radio Schizo:

Format: Punk

First off among my new shows is punk. Radio Schizo is just an hour-long platform for punk bands of all creeds, colors and sub-genres. Expect to hear bands such as Amebix, Rudimentary Peni, The Nation of Ulysses, The Queers and The Wipers.

Sounds of the Animal Kingdom:

Format: Metal

Sounds of the Animal Kingdom isn't so far off from Metal Up Your Ass. I do not feel right taking that name up for the show, though, without my co-host's presence. Sounds of the Animal Kingdom has more of a focus on extreme and doom metal. You're likely to hear High on Fire, Brutal Truth, Carcass, Rwake and YOB.

I'll also be taking up a 2-6PM timeslot on tuesday, which may evolve into a prog/jazz show, so stay tuned for information on that.

UP YOUR ASS

Have you ever woken up on a wednesday morning and realize that your face is not melted? My latest show may just cure what ails you. Yes, I have yet another show on air! This time, the genre is METAL.

Metal Up Your Ass:

Format: Metal

Wake up to your daily injection of hot lead, metal heavy enough to crush all under hoof. This time, I'm on air as the Electric Wizard with my friend and co-host, the Basstard Samurai. We're bringing the death and thrash along with any other subgenre of metal. Expect to hear Death, Megadth, Napalm Death and Death Breath among other deathly sounds.
